Introducing the Craigavon Business Engagement Programme

Posted by Jim on June 02, 2014  /   Posted in Blog

The Business Engagement Programme (BEP) is a new programme of tailored support and mentoring available to participating businesses based in Craigavon Borough Council Area.

The aim of BEP is to help local businesses to increase their capacity and become more competitive.

BEP will engage with 280 companies between now and June 2015 to assess their business needs and identify suitable support to address those needs. Where necessary the programme will provide one to one mentoring to participant businesses. Mentors will be sourced from a mentor pool co-ordinated by a management company who will report directly to the Council.

The project will be led by a Project Manager and a Project Officer employed by Craigavon Borough Council

The Programme offers:

  • Face to Face Client Baseline Assessments
  • Direct Business Advice
  • Signposting businesses to what support is on offer from local economic development stakeholders
  • 1 to 1 Mentoring on specific identified issues
  • Benefit from tailor made intervention adjusted to suit clients needs

If you are interested in joining the programme please complete the online form on the Contact page or contact either Malachy Gribbin or Arlene Barton at Craigavon Borough Council on 028 3831 2400.
