Following the success of STAR 1, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are delighted to announce the launch of the STAR 2 programme.
How will STAR 2 help my business?
The programme of support and training is designed to help your business:

What does the STAR 2 programme offer?
- Up to six half day business advice sessions with an experienced business specialist.
- Three business skills development workshops to help you grow your business
- A business audit to identify opportunities for your business
- A two hour financial health check from a qualified accountant.
- Two mystery shopping audits, one at the start and one at the end of the project.
- An individual Business Improvement Plan mapping out what action you need to take

Who can apply?
- Businesses with under 250 employees
- Trading in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council area
- In the Retail, Hospitality, Tourism or Professional Services sectors
How much will it cost to take part in the STAR 2 programme?
- Value of STAR 2 package of support = £1700
- To join the programme, you just need to pay a contribution of £100
